Come spend a fun afternoon with me and you'll go home with a versatile and beautifully decorated canvas zip pouch!
During the class you will learn how to transfer printed paper onto canvas. This technique doesn't require anything special and you'll be able to use it with decorative papers you already have at home.
I'll also show you my special technique for making tissue papers almost transparent using a surprising product that has many other uses as well.
We will be using Glimmer Mists to watercolor on our natural canvas bags. You'll be surprised how easy and fun it is to get gorgeous results.
You will feel like a magician after you learn my fun techniques!
Most of the materials you'll need to decorate your pouch and do the transfer technique are provided including:
- A 6 x 9 natural canvas pouch with a brass-tone zipper
- 3 natural canvas tag shapes
- 1 sheet of 12 x 12 french script tissue paper
- 8 sheets of 4 x 8 printed decorative papers
- 1 metal fleur de lis embellishment
- Your choice of a 3-pack of Architextures Trinkets...yep, you get to pick your own!
- A sample of Amodex to clean painty hands
In addition to what is provided in your class kit, you will also have free use of our large selection of Glimmer Mists as well as the mediums you will need.
*This class is limited to 10 participants ages 15 and up. After you sign up you will receive a link to download a short list of supplies you will need to bring with you. These are basic tools such as glue, paint brushes, hand wipes, etc.
